Consulting Team
The senior consultants and associates of TEMN have all been closely involved with Jamaica's private and public sectors, and have been pivotal in the development of the country's environmental policy. Three have been past executive staff members of the Natural Resources Conservation Department (NRCD), precursor to the Natural Resources Conservation Authority (NRCA), the major Jamaican agency responsible for environmental management. The combined team brings more than 50 years of experience in working together on complex multi-disciplinary environmental studies of national significance and is committed to providing quality services by adhering to the principles of sound environmental management.

PIERRE R. DIAZ, B.Sc.
Mr. Diaz holds a degree in Physical Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology and is one of Jamaica's leading oceanographers.
A former Resident Oceanographer at the Natural Resources Conservation Authority (NRCA), he has served as Technical Advisor to the Beach Control Authority, and was responsible for implementation of the National Coastal Erosion Programme.
Mr. Diaz is a private oceanographic consultant who specialises in coastal modification, using the latest coastal engineering technologies, to stabilise, create and enhance shorelines.
He brings to the team extensive experience in coordinating oceanographic surveys which are used to predict the influence of coastal development on the important coastal processes essential for a healthy environment.
