Consulting Team
The senior consultants and associates of TEMN have all been closely involved with Jamaica's private and public sectors, and have been pivotal in the development of the country's environmental policy. Three have been past executive staff members of the Natural Resources Conservation Department (NRCD), precursor to the Natural Resources Conservation Authority (NRCA), the major Jamaican agency responsible for environmental management. The combined team brings more than 50 years of experience in working together on complex multi-disciplinary environmental studies of national significance and is committed to providing quality services by adhering to the principles of sound environmental management.

  • PETER GAYLE, M.Phil.,

    A Marine Ecologist by training, Mr. Gayle spent several years with the Natural Resources Conservation Authority (NRCA) as a Research Ecologist in the Aquatic Resources Division. He is currently the Principal Scientific Officer at the University of the West Indies Discovery Bay Marine Laboratory. Mr. Gayle brings to the team over 15 years of experience in offering a variety of environmental and commercial services such as Marine Biological Surveys, Ecosystem Restoration and Management, and Seafloor Surveys. Other associated skills relate to Open and Closed Circuit Mixed Gas Diving, Remote Video Scanning and Still Photography, Marine Co-ordination, Search and Recovery Missions, Light Salvage, Security Inspections and Surveys of docks, ships' hulls, cooling systems and propulsion gear.
